Full face rejuvenation: The perfect plan
The best way to achieve the most natural, balanced and long-lasting results, is by creating a customized treatment plan aimed at both correcting and preventing.
This is accomplished by combining a variety of procedures and medical-grade skincare products, which helps to maintain and further enhance results achieved in office, by having a routine, at home.
Side note; we will not be discussing surgical options and referrals here but during your consultation, surgery may be recommended as an alternative.
The ideal combination in my office, which depends upon if you’re a candidate for each treatment, would be to utilize full face neuromodulators (Dysport®), HA fillers (Restylane), biostimulators (hyperdilute Radiesse® or Sculptra®) , chemical peels (ViPeel ®), microneedling (SkinPen®) and a selection of skincare products from the SkinBetter Science® line.
Let’s break this down.
Neuromodulators, such as Botox® and Dysport® can be used to relax overactive muscles that create frowning and excessive expression lines - from the forehead to the décolletage. When you relax muscles that pull in a negative fashion, it allows opposing muscles to pull more easily such as in the case of treating the jawline and platysmal bands with tox (Nefertiti lift), which allows the smile muscles to pull upwards, creating an improvement in the under eyes, smile lines and jawline. Of course we have our traditional uses for tox as well, around the eyes, between the brows and forehead, to create a more relaxed and refreshed look.
Ha fillers, such as Restylane® are great for replacing lost volume and contouring the face. They can be used to enhance and balance the cheeks, lips and chin, smooth transition zones and sculpt the jawline. Fillers allow us to alter light and shadow reflects to trick the eye and create the illusion of a more lifted, sculpted face.
Hyperdilute Radiesse® and Sculptra® are biostimulatory agents that are quickly gaining more popularity in the field of aesthetics. Biostimulators enhance collagen and elastin, proteins that provide the skin with its elasticity, firmness and glow. This treatment is great for the face, neck and decolletage and. Is typically done in a series.
SkinPen® microneedling is another tool we use to stimulate collagen and elastin to smooth fine lines, improve acne scars, pigmentation and large pores. Microneedling is great when trying to create flawless, glowing skin.
ViPeel®: One of the best ways to rid the sun damage of summer, smooth fine lines and correct pigment like melasma and uneven texture., is with a mid-depth chemical peel. This does require about a week of down time and not ideal to do around a sunny vacation.
SkinBetter Science® skincare products: This line has something for everyone. It is a medical grade line and I only carry, in office, the products from the line in which I use myself- though we do have access to purchase any products within the line.
